Seminar: Public Investment for the Public Good
Who defines what the public good is? How is money moved to achieve these public goods?
Come and learn about how community organizations approach this question and develop organizing campaigns to define it for ourselves. We will be joined by Councilmember At-Large Sarah Parady, Author Sam Stein ("Capital City"), and expert city planners. The day will conclude with a discussion of the campaign to return land in Globeville-Elyria-Swansea to community ownership.
