July 2022 Delegate Assembly: Growing a Power Organization

The Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) has over a 80 year history of building power organization's throughout the country. The IAF builds organizations that are both representative of the people in a given community and truly owned by that community. What would it take for Coloradans for the Common Good to truly become a people's organization for the entire Front Range? What institutions would have to be at the table? What issues would the organization have to take on? What kind of power is needed so that families throughout the Front Range can have a say in the issues that impact their day-to-day lives? 

Join CCG Leaders on Wednesday, July 13th from 6:30-8:00pm at St. John Francis Chapel on the campus of Regis University as we reflect on our work over the past six months and formally invite new institutions, particularly institutions led by and made up of people of color, to join CCG and build a people's organization that truly represents the people of the Front Range.

La Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) tiene más de 80 años de historia en la construcción de organizaciones de poder en todo el país. La IAF construye organizaciones que son a la vez representativas de la gente de una comunidad determinada y que son realmente propiedad de esa comunidad. ¿Qué haría falta para que Coloradans for the Common Good se convirtiera realmente en una organización popular para todo el Front Range? ¿Qué instituciones tendrían que estar en la mesa? ¿De qué cuestiones tendría que ocuparse la organización? ¿Qué tipo de poder se necesita para que las familias de todo el Front Range puedan opinar sobre las cuestiones que afectan a su vida cotidiana? 

Únase a los líderes de CCG el miércoles 13 de julio de 6:30 a 8:00 pm en la Capilla de San Juan Francisco en el campus de la Universidad Regis, mientras reflexionamos sobre nuestro trabajo en los últimos seis meses e invitamos formalmente a nuevas instituciones, en particular las instituciones dirigidas por y compuestas por personas de color, a unirse a CCG y construir una organización popular que realmente represente a la gente de Front Range.
